rather dull.

turns out i have no time to keep up with the fast-paced world of blogging. how do you all do it? i think of something i want to write about, and then as i get home, things pile up and i have a million hours of homework and a week passes and my brilliant idea is old news.

no one likes old news.

also, no one likes blogs without pictures. and i recently lost my battery charger for my camera, so it's dead. i don't know how to revive it. so, if and when i find the time to post something worth reading (this most definitely is not) it will likely feature an old memory, with some lovely old photos to go with it. don't worry, i'm not just blogging to give you all something to read. i really have a few things i'd like to put up here that fall into the 'nostalgic' category. until then...

thank you miss july.

"What I like best is the sort of complicated messed-up truth. . . the one that's like so imperfect, you know it's true. You just know it's real. That kind of mutual recognition, especially between strangers. . . I've always loved that. . . . There's proof of something so unspecific that to me, it's really alive - that kind of half-nauseous, half-beautiful feeling..."

my inspiration for this video.

*if this video makes you feel uncomfortable or awkward (that 'half-nauseous feeling...') i've accomplished what i set out to do.

This is one of four little films I made whilst in Israel. I may post the others one day. they're all better than this one. This is just the shortest.
